Paul Revere Society SitewatchItems of interest from the Paul Revere Society web site. Including the occasional comment from yours truly.General thoughts: the animated "Borders, Language, Culture" image is really aggravatingly cheesy. The site itself looks like it was designed by a total amatuer - if Savage is so successful, why can't he hire a professional web site designer? They aren't that expensive - my wife could redo his look and feel for under $2000. ... the only thing WORSE than Savage's site, is the site of one of his fans, The Savage Nation Underground. GAH. Hideous beyond belief. Side thought: why isn't Savage suing this guy from commercial exploitation of his trademark? June 9th, 2003The page linked to in the image above has the following text: MAY 28--Turns out the Florida woman who is suing for the right to wear a Muslim headdress in a driver's license photograph has previously been subjected to an, um, unveiled government portrait. Following her 1997 conversion to Islam, Sultaana Freeman (formerly Sandra Keller) was arrested in Decatur, Illinois for battering a foster child. Freeman, 35, pleaded guilty in 1999 to felony aggravated battery and was sentenced to 18 months probation. As a result of the conviction, state officials removed two foster children from Freeman's care. The mug shot of the felonious Freeman (below left) was taken after her arrest in the Illinois case. Freeman returned to the dock this week--that's her testifying in the below right photo--to challenge Florida rules requiring prospective drivers to submit to unveiled photos for their licenses. Last year, Freeman sued the state after her license was revoked when she failed to allow officials to photograph her sans headdress. State officials contend that, in light of the September 11 attacks, it is crucial that all motorists now be photographed in an unadorned state. (source: thesmokinggun.com) Society slogan appears to have been updated, is now "The Paul Revere Society: Men and Women Protecting America". I don't appear to have documented this little gem before (nice how he integrates the sales pitch):

Editorial Comment: Can anyone on God's green earth explain to me the relevance of the "Muslim Woman Unveiled" article to ANYTHING?!? What is Savage's point here?!? I can't even begin to guess. Oh yeah, the page also includes a "clickable" button encouraging people to donate... oops, it isn't actually clickable - someone forgot to put in the link! Doh! Other notes:
Savage's web site is still hideous - if for nothing else than its gratuitous, inconsistent and excessive use of "click here" buttons, such as this:
Here's another example of bad design - use of a completely different image for the same purpose: Are Savage's viewers too damn stupid to recognize a web link or clickable image and then know that they should click on it?!? P.S. He still has that ultra annoying "Borders, Language, Culture" animated gif on the site (gives me a headache). But I've got the last laugh on his "Borders, Language, Culture" trip ... a loyal visitor to the SavageStupidity.com site altered me to the fact that, without even trying, a SavageStupidity.com column is the top ranking result on Google when you type in Savage's favorite phrase. I've confirmed it. How awesome is that? :) December 4th, 2002The Paul Revere Society 9-Point Program

JUDGES? BORDERS? TAXES? Your Paul Revere Society will fight the U.S. Federal Appeals Court decision. The U.S. Government just won a case denying lifetime medical benefits to WWII and Korean wartime veterans. This is a huge slap in the face to our heroes. Why does the Government give billions of dollars in medical benefits to illegal aliens and non-citizens wo never served in the military. This insult to our veterans must be reversed. By signing our petition to SAVE Veterans Benefits, we will educate our bereaucracy and reverse this outrage. Please sponsor the Paul Revere Society now to help us fight these evil forces.
Michael Savage October 14th, 2002The Paul Revere Society6 Knoll Lane, Suite E. Mill Valley, Ca. 94941 www.paulreveresociety.com June 17, 2002 Dear Paul Revere Society Sponsor, We are very happy to announce the receipt of a significant seed grant from an anonymous donor. We would like your assistance in determining which direction to take The Paul Revere Society. Our immediate plans include the following: 1) Taking a series of advertisements in national publications with our messages. 2) Setting aside a portion of our funds to purchase a Paul Revere Society Headquarters Building (preferably we will be housed in a former church that comes up for sale). 3) Publishing messages to our members on a regular basis. 4) Hiring much needed staff, including an office manager. 5) Organizing a lecture series with important conservative speakers. In the near future we hope to be able to setup an online system for your responses. In the meanwhile, if you care to send us a short e-mail regarding the above questions, you can contact The Paul Revere Society anytime. Sincerely Yours,
Michael Savage
Editorial Comment: This has been here for a while... wonder how much it has been, and what he's done with it - because I sure haven't seen any evidence that the the PRS has actually done anything new recently. Certainly, there's been no indication of this on the PRS web site, and nothing's been mentioned on "The Savage Nation". All I can say is that I sure wish someone would hand me $50,000 to run SavageStupidity.com and organize a counter-movement full time. :) October 8th, 2002Our Mission StatementMichael Savage founded The Paul Revere Society (PRS). With a crisis of leadership threatening the United States, PRS stands for the reassertion of our borders, our language, and our culture. Some say that the borders are arbitrary, English is only one of many languages in our new "Multicultural America," and that we share no common history or values. We believe in the Sovereignty of our Nation. That English is our national "glue." And that we all do share in the pillars of the Bible, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. These documents and what they stand for are our common cultural heritage. The Paul Revere Society (PRS) will assert the values inherent in these pillars of freedom. We will seek to educate the citizenry about our nation's freedoms.
Editorial Comment: I've noticed that Savage often omits the Bible from the trioka of "the Bible, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights" when he's talking on the air. What's that about? October 8th, 2002The Paul Revere Society Supports Isreal The Paul Revere Society supports her right to self defense. No Nation on earth can permit an enemy to kills its women, children and elderly without striking back. Arafat is clearly a terrorist. Just as we support America's war against terror, so we support Isreal in her struggle against terror. Borders, Language, Culture. This is the motto of the Paul Revere Society. This applies to America and to all other nations. As such, Isreal has a right to clearly defined borders, her national language, which is Hebrew, and a Jewish Culture. Although Isreal is home to over 70 nationalities, Borders, Language, and Culture are the operational words.

October 5th, 2002Savage has decided to become a restaurant reviewer? There is now a note on the home page: "Restaurant Owners Click Here" ... of course, consistent with the utter lack of design sense evident in the rest of his site, the page itself is clearly a template, and looks completely inconsistent with the rest of the site.If you own a restaurant or are the general manager and would like Michael Savage to try your cuisine and service, please e-mail us at: Why does Savage bother with an Events page, when the last time the Paul Revere Society sponsored an event (according to the site) was November 4th, in the year 2000? "The 5th Annual Compassionate Conservative Convention". September 27th, 2002Fight Idiots in Baggy Pants!Officer Morse Thanks Paul Revere Society Sponsors! Owing to the generosity of all of you who have contributed, we are proud to report that your Paul Revere Society has sent a total of $32,500 to the Officer Jeremy Morse Defense Fund. We strongly support the Police in America and their pursuit of justice. In supporting Officer Morse in his legal battle against Police-Haters, we hope to send a strong message. Once again, it was through the generosity of Paul Revere Society Sponsors that we were able to make this significant contribution. If you did not contribute to this fund, but would like to contribute to future Paul Revere Society functions and programs, please complete the pledge form below. Thank You,
Michael Savage
Editorial Comment: I was scanning the web for some information on what type of service record, if any, Michael has, and I ran across a discussion forum containing some of the most truly mind-blowingly racist statements I have ever seen, including one quoting Michael Savage approvingly (which is how I wound up there)... here's a couple of things this guy said: "They are convinced that the blue-lip, black-gum, tar baby should be catered upon at the expense of all others." ... "[...] the white woman in fear of causing anger or physical harm states that no she isn't a racist. Then these bur-head porch-apes pressure them in going out with them, a typical nigger manuver." The moment I saw the "Idiots in Baggy Pants" item above, I immediately flashed back to these statements. Savage never says anything quite as bad as this (although the "[Hispanics] ... breed like rabbits" comment is pretty bad), and I truly doubt that he is anywhere near as crudely racist (in fact, I'm sure he'd condemn this guy with gusto), but I am convinced that his contempt for certain categories of people, etc. plays into this kind of mind-set, and validates their internal point of view. September 27th, 2002PRS to Fight California's Pledge of Allegiance Decision!Your Paul Revere Sociey will fight California's Pledge of Allegiance decision. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that our Nation's Pledge of Allegiance is "unconstitutional" on the false grounds that the words "Under God" violated the so-called Establishment Clause in the Constitution that requires a separation of church and state. To think that a single Red Diaper Doper Baby Federal Judge would attack the heart and soul of America like this, is a declaration of war. Karl Marx, the father of the communist revolution wrote, that "religion is the opiate of the masses." This decision proves beyond any doubt that America's most radical, most liberal court, is a hot bed of active agents who hate America. The PRS needs your help now to fight against this tide of subversive, demonic, degenerate, judicial activism! By sponsoring us today, you will help us fight this evil. Our nation was founded 226 years ago on the values of Judeo-Christian principles. This decision by the subversive California 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is a direct attack upon the U.S. Constitution. If you support this perverted decision then you must also believe that our currency, our Supreme Court, our House of Representatives, and our Presidential Oath of Office are also unconstitutional, because each asserts a belief in God. God is recognized on our currency and in numerous federal and state documents that are a part of our national heritage. Remember our battle cry, BORDERS, LANGUAGE, AND CULTURE! Our belief in Godhelped unite and empower out great nation. If we allow liberal courts to destroy these key values, our nation will soon unravel. Please sponsor the Paul Revere Society now to help us fight these evil forces.

Editorial Comment:
Savage has been circulating a petition (you have to print it, and then send it in), and claims to have gotten tens of thousands of signatures on it. If true, that's pretty amazing, given the primitive mechanisms he's using... why not an on-line petition? Perhaps because that might make him accountable, and provide a public record of how much support he is actually able to generate? You gotta wonder.
